If I’m not mistaken, it’s one of the only studios in the area to offer mat Pilates, so kudos to SubHerban! It was personally my first time doing hot Pilates, and I was a bit nervous but I left drenched in sweat and feeling GREAT! Krystah is super nice, welcoming, and can put together & teach a great class. I appreciated the cool down moments in the class, and her reminders to breathe (because I personally always forget when the exercises get challenging!). I also appreciated the cool towels at the end of class. The only thing I would change/request is earlier class options throughout the week so I could go more often … but that’s just my personal preference! 😊 I can’t wait for next class! ✨

They did some moves I’ve never done before in other Pilates reformer studios. Example, u had to curtsy lunge then get back on carriage and do a leg extension. It was hard to coordinate all this. It does have videos on every wall to follow so you can see how to do the exercise and what exercise is coming up next. It also had a lot of foot traffic outside the window that kept distracting my adhd.

The workout was challenging in the best way and left me feeling strong without feeling completely drained after. I also genuinely appreciate that the studio offers both Lift with cardio and Lift without cardio options. Being able to focus mainly on strength training made the workout so much more enjoyable without having to catch my breath in between sets if there was cardio in between. Then I had the pleasure to be with Yudis for a 90min Swedish massage where she literally lifted a weight of my shoulders. I felt so incredibly relaxed.
