Literally say “hello” - to people when they arrive at your class for the first time! Let folks know where the equipment is, what to use and how to check-in! Ask about injuries …. There’s obviously a community there and it seems to be a well appreciated local asset -so that’s great- but honestly welcoming people in the first time/just acknowledging their existence when they visit would make a real difference- rather than just completely ignoring them and letting them figure everything out by themselves!

ver todas as avaliaçõesI loved the playlist Saahil had going and the overall cozy atmosphere. I also really appreciated how straightforward his cues were rather than being overly wordy. It made the overall vibe feel laid back and no pressure, which is exactly what you want in a restorative class. Saahil also made it a point to have the class set an intention before we started our practice which I loved, along with being mindful of areas of focus folks requested, and being sure to point out which poses were addressing those areas. I love that he pointed out which chakras we were focusing on with each movement too. I will say that there was some challenges in the sequence and I typically like to just rest in restorative classes, so that would be my main point of feedback (maybe focusing on more restful asanas rather than working asanas). It’s also my personal preference to rest into shavasana a little longer 🙈 these are just my preferences! Others may disagree and overall I’d recommend taking a class with Saahil :)

ver todas as avaliaçõesGreat vibe of this place. A staff member was super friendly and showed me the facilities and where to store my stuff after I signed a waiver. Tae-Woo set a friendly tone immediately and had us introduce ourselves to one person we didn't know (but no forcing conversation beyond that). The workout was really solid, starting out with some dynamic stretching, then weights (slow, heavier, and intentional), then a cardio/movement with dumbbells/kettlebells and short runs. Tae-Woo easily subbed the SkiErg for the running for me due to a bad knee. It was chiller than other classes I've done but still really challenging (HR zones 2 to 5 by the last few rounds of the circuit. I'll definitely be back.
