Hyperion — Red Light Therapy, Infrared Sauna, & Compression Therapy
ver todas as avaliaçõesThe Hyperion at the Proper Hotel is a truly luxurious wellness experience. You have your own private suite with all the amenities you’d expect from a high-end hotel room, including a full bathroom. I appreciated that you’re free to customize how you spend your hour based on the therapies that interest you. The red light therapy bed is limited to a 15 minute session, and the PEMF mat runs for 8 minutes, but otherwise you can tailor the experience to your preferences. Since it was my first visit, I wanted to sample a little bit of everything.Unfortunately, when I went to use the PEMF mat, it displayed a low battery warning and wouldn’t operate. I spent about 10 minutes trying to see if I could plug it in or use the attachment for a specific body part instead, but wasn’t able to get it working. That was the only disappointment during an otherwise excellent experience. Had all of the equipment been functioning properly, I would have gladly given this experience 5 stars.

Me Time Fassage 50min
ver todas as avaliaçõesThe spa seems to have a good team that communicates well. I show up 30 minutes early(appointment at 4) incase I needed to fill out any additional paperwork, was greeted by Alan at the front desk. Another staff member came over to check me in and escorted me to the lounge(15-20 minutes) while they finished prepping my room. I reading a book on my phone until someone asked if I wanted to start early. I was happy to do so. A few moments later my massage therapist came over and walked me to the room. She confirmed my schedule procedure and which order they would be in. She asked if I had any problem areas i wanted to focus on, my shoulder and back were given plenty of attention. My massage was heavy handed with lots of check in to ensure it felt good. I enjoy the visualization she used by saying I was like a stick of butter slowly melting. I also got a glass of water after. My facial was nice and focused on hydration. The esthetician had a really calming voice and asked about any allergies and also checked in during cleansing to make sure the product wasn’t sensational. I left relax and glowing. Between the both of my professionals I was given extra 10 minutes on each procedure, the team really cares about their clients here. I felt a little bad since I left the recommended 20% tip, but it’s split between the professionals. I would book again but try the independent treatments on their own.

ver todas as avaliaçõesLovely space! I would definitely come back. It’s very clean and so nice to watch TV while in the sauna. My only note is that the $5 add on for the shower feels a bit much, as I’ve engaged with similar businesses in New York where the shower is included, and it was a similar amount of credits. Overall, lovely and I definitely recommend if you’re looking to relax and decompress.

It helps that I called ahead of time to have them raise the temperature of the cold plunge so I could get the maximum benefits, but it’s also worth noting that the female attendees were much more helpful and considerate of my current state (being impaired on crutches) than the male attendants were. If you’re like me and need extra time to shower after, I would recommend booking an hour for yourself. Will be back to book another session ASAP.

Flow State Cryo & Recovery

ver todas as avaliaçõesWhat an experience. I had been having back pain for a couple of weeks, and overall muscle soreness from a previous training session. My back pain was so severe that I went to urgent care to test for kidney failure just in case, and was prescribed muscle relaxers. I’d been wanting to try cryotherapy, but just never got around to it. I found this place nearby, and decided to give it a go. Super easy to find, lots of parking. Was greeted right away. Check in was easy, and the walkthrough was super helpful and informative. I got to pick a song to play in the chamber, and was explained after effects. I slept like really well that night. Really good deep sleep and REM sleep. And when I woke up, no major back pain! Which is great considering I did a 12-hour work day after my cryotherapy session. I really appreciated how easy and fast it was to hop in and out of this facility, and am a firm believer in cryotherapy now. I will most definitely be back!

ver todas as avaliaçõesOh my gosh! I visited there last Saturday with my boyfriend for his birthday. The staff was so welcoming from the moment we arrived. Unfortunately, my boyfriend had high blood pressure, so he couldn't participate in the full session. However, the lady was incredibly kind and offered him a back treatment instead, and she didn't even charge him for it! She told us, 'I hope you come back next time.' We definitely will! He is still feeling a bit under the weather, but as soon as he recovers, we’ll be back. I also noticed that my body felt great and energized afterward. I also loved the resort—the hospitality was 100% amazing!

The equipment looks more professional and heavy duty than I have seen at some other places. My legs felt more toned after one session so I’m intrigued to try more. I did the Lipo laser plus radio frequency on my thighs. I’m at a healthy to slim weight but as I’ve aged, I have issues with skin laxity so that was my goal with getting this treatment.
