I think a disclaimer for newbies to start with pretty light weights might be helpful - I’m comfortable enough to do that on my own but if I’d grabbed the weights suggested I would’ve had a bad time.

ver todas as avaliaçõesChris is the reason I came to Boarding School at Recess. His classes are always incredible, his personality is dynamic, and you will work a sweat up. I love the hero board as it is a different type of challenge and workout. The cardio burst in the middle is always killer and gets my heart rate up. The space is gorgeous and so clean! I highly recommend taking boarding school with Chris!

ver todas as avaliaçõesGreat class! It wasn’t extremely challenging, which was nice but for my personal fitness goals I would’ve loved it if the circuit could’ve been a bit more rigorous. However this was perfect for a group class. Great flow, good encouragement from Ramon and I appreciated he went outside to wait for all newcomers.

ver todas as avaliaçõesThis is a new gym. The space was nice, somewhat small, but big enough for the small group we had for class. A few things that were different from other boxing gyms: you had to take your shoes and socks off for the matted area around the bags for the first half of the workout, warm up started with weighted jump ropes which was a good challenge but really hurt your toes when you accidentally hit your feet (maybe this part should be done in the other gym area to avoid this issue), and we weren’t really given time to put on wraps. Overall it was a good workout with a mix of bag work, pad work, body weight exercises, and a weight circuit. I’d recommend trying it out.
