ver todas as avaliaçõesI have been to many of Emily’s classes and usually they always leave me feeling like I just worked out muscles I didn’t know existed! This class however took that to the next level to the point where the moves felt slightly awkward and there wasn’t great flow. I’m not sure if she was trying out a new sequence/playlist but even as someone who is an “intermediate” Pilates girl this class left me confused. That being said she’s a great instructor and is always there to make sure you’re doing the moves correctly- no matter how confusing they are!

I always have trouble hearing/understanding the instructor’s directions in Solidcore classes but she was easy to follow and had us do some really ingenious moves on the reformer. I will say, for the first time, you may need to watch the instructor to understand but once you get the hang of it, it is so fun to jump around. Sort of like the Tracey Anderson classes I see on Tiktok ;)

ver todas as avaliaçõesWAYY TOO HOT AND HUMID IN THE CLASS! The coach is great & taught an awesome class so this is not complaint on her by any means. However the classroom itself was way too hot and had no airflow. Makes it difficult to do the work out. I personally do not do well in a hot environment especially when working out it make me feel like I’m going to faint. In addition I was sweating even more than usual during class and my machine was pretty slippery from it which makes it even harder to stand up on. I hope this doesn’t continue because I have no desire to take a hot yoga style class especially with the summer approaching. Coach was 10/10 environment was not ideal.

The 8 second countdown ends up being like 20 which is annoying as a client. I think if you see a lot of instructors / strong clients breaking it’s time to get us out of the move. This was especially uncomfortable on the twisted exercises. I saw a lot of people modify for center core instead so I think something to be aware of :) but she’s awesome with such good energy!
