see all reviewsI took my very first SoulCycle class today at Hoboken, and I can’t stop raving about it. The studio was super clean and well-designed, and I loved the tiered layout. The staff at check-in knew I was a first-time rider and made sure I felt totally prepared, walking me through everything and getting me set up upstairs. Once it was time to ride, Dominique met me at my bike and went above and beyond to make sure I was comfortable and ready. She explained everything with so much patience and hype, which instantly put me at ease. The ride itself? Unreal. It was a Beyoncé Renaissance x Cowboy Carter theme ride, and the playlist was everything. Dominique brought the perfect mix of motivation, rhythm, and joy to the entire class. Between her incredible energy, spot-on cues, and ability to make every rider feel seen, it honestly felt like I was dancing in a nightclub on a bike. She was the absolute star of the show. I’m 1000% coming back for more of Dominique’s classes. If you’re thinking about trying SoulCycle, this is your sign. Go take Dominique’s class. You won’t regret it.

It was a candlelit class and I think it was perfect as my first class since I was worried about my coordination to later realize, it doesn’t matter! You go at your own pace which is something I need to remind myself all the time but Viper would mention it periodically.
