Honestly love all of the tabata classes here! And Anwar is a gem, so was the other instructor. Really challenging and a complete workout. New space is bigger but could use a place to change that’s not the two single-stall bathrooms.

    Exhale Barre

Amazing to be back in class! After a year plus of not stepping foot in a fitness studio or gym, being left to my own devices at home in my makeshift apartment gym, I have sorely missed a true barre class and Kat was as intense and challenging as I remember. She didn’t waste a second of the hour and gave us an incredibly thorough workout. Capacity is capped so there was plenty of space between students with mask and cleaning protocols in place. Only caveat is that I wish the showers reopen bc there’s nothing worse than having to commute home when super sweaty after class & not even be able to wash off.

Hands down the best yoga class I've ever taken. I got nice and sweaty. There were some very advanced poses thrown into the class, but the instructor made thr class feel very comfortable with modifications and a safe space to play/try the poses. I was inspired to push myself, and when I failed felt great just taking a child's pose. Take this livestream. You won't regret it!

Nice lunchtime flow. Some challenging moves but also not super quick paced. Other reviews mentioned heat—teacher said it was 77 degrees and personally I didn’t find it too hot, I did not break a sweat (which is ideal when I have to go back to work) but also my muscles felt worked and good stretch. Nice music. Tight busy space before and after class so come already in your workout clothes if possible and get ready to wait if you gotta change after

    Inferno Hot Pilates Express

Top 40 and tabata style class. A far cry from alignment-focused pilates, laughably so. Not my thing at all and definitely not what I was expecting, to be honest I couldn’t have disliked this more. BUT if you like this kind of thing (everyone else in class seemed to love it and it sells out often so there’s definitely an audience for it) then this is the place for you. It’s kind of like bar class meets HIIT. I would return to try one of the heated yoga offerings because the space is decent and well-maintained, and while this particular class didn’t resonate for me, the teacher was great for what it was.

Surya Hot Flow - Level 1

Our instructor Megan was great, she took the time to correct my stance several times. Was concise and easy to follow. She also topped off the class with an adjustment and aromatherapy with tea tree oil. Playlist was a fun mix which helped to keep me engaged. The facilities need work, a lot of keys are missing on the lockers and the heat was disappointing. Temperature was turned on at 100 but it felt like 80 tops. I felt a strong draft from the window throughout the class.

    H.I.I.T. the Deck!

I was the only person in the class for the day, and the instructor was great about correcting my form to make sure I was doing everything properly. It was a great workout and really hard. You will definitely get a great sweat! Each card suit was a different exercise - 2 lower body and 2 upper body. The number on the card was the number of reps. The instructor pulls 4 cards each round, one from each suit. I didn’t make it through the whole deck by myself but I got pretty far.

Was pretty scared cause Y7 classes are hard enough with core work already built in. This wasnt too bad. Only 45 minutes so some core work, a few sun salutations, more core work, a long sequence, a final core burst. Jo Marie went around the room and introduced herself to EVERY student at the beginning of class. Love it when teachers do this, and sadly it rarely happens. She then proceeded to give a solid class with just the right amount of encouragement. Sometimes I feel like this class would be better unheated - the struggle becomes more about the heat than the actual movements at times. But definitely worth a try.

Very nice class! I liked Becca’s style and most of it didn’t feel too rushed. Much better than my last experience at Y7, which was at the Soho location. The Park Slope one is a little more reasonably sized and has two bathrooms.
