I enjoyed the format of the class, specifically that the whole body was targeted: upper body, lower body, and abs were given equal attention . The class is 45 minutes, which I really like, except the Stretch at the end of the class gets robbed: it is not quite sufficient, considering the amount of time and work spent on each muscle group. But I think this is common in most fitness classes and this was a super fitness class, a “not for your mother’s “Pilates class.

The only thing I was disappointed with was it was a 45 min class, roughly 7 min warm up (which I missed most of) and 13 minute cool down only giving us 25 minutes for the main workout. I would go again. :-)

The workout was definitely challenging, but it was still very doable as a beginner. I got a great sweat in and left feeling accomplished. I’ll definitely be taking another class with Kelsi and would highly recommend her to anyone, especially if it’s your first time!

The bolster, blocks, weighted eye mask and other equipment was already in place when I arrived, so all I had to do was bring my yoga mat and lay down. The studio is very spacious and well lit. I enjoyed the Tibetan singing bowls and also the rose and hibiscus tea at the end. I came in with a shoulder ache caused by my own bad posture, and left with no ache at all. 10/10 would do this again!

The studio had a space to sit before class since I got there about 15 minutes early (gave me a chance to answer some emails and work a little) and had showers for after class- literally my dream studio! I also think she could’ve been a bit clearer when explaining combo movements… sometimes it changed halfway through. Also a little too heavy on the tippy toe work, quads were seizing. Overall really fun class though and I loved her energy!!

I do think it was too hot, at one point there were 5 of us in the lobby, and it felt like almost everyone left the room at one point, and it felt like it was taking away from the workout a little bit being so hot! I am a frequent flyer of heated classes, so i feel like i can beat the heat most times, but today was really hot.
