I don’t know anything about boxing, kickboxing, I usually do at-home workouts for maybe 30 minutes a couple times a week. I recently got ClassPass to start exploring local studios in NJ, build community, and grow with accountability. YALL, I got my butt kicked in this class but my instructor Verne (Captain Verne 🫡, affectionately) was so lovely and an EXCELLENT instructor. She took the time to explain the moves and encouraged me all throughout. I also met another boxer in the class named Angela, said she’s been going there for 3 years and yall, the proof is in the pudding. That woman had maybe 15 20 years on me (?) and was a total beast, crushing every exercise. I think the only wise thing left for me to do is keep going. Count me in—I’ll be back friends!

She gave us all stickers at the end and told me she was a retired teacher - which just made me love the whole experience even more. Facilities are beautiful and clean. Excited to come back, especially after the pool is open!
