I’ve never done a moon salutation in yoga before, and it was an experience. I love this yoga studio. They have a fan for life.

She talked for most of class, but it was nice because it made me focus on what she was saying versus the pain i was feeling in the deep stretching. She showed examples of poses to use in yin vs restore. It was a very nice balance and I left the class feeling SUPER relaxed.

Her class is always so good but challenging - it wasn’t as scorching hot as some other classes I’ve taken at Yonder but it was def still hot and I left drenched (bring a towel, yoga sweat mat and water). She’s really good about reminding you of your intentions and pushing past limiting thoughts.

The music is more pop / hip hop which was okay with me but just something to be aware of if you are looking for more slow or soothing music. The only feedback was the teacher spoke VERY fast so it was a little hard to follow, so would have been nice for him to just not speak so fast, but otherwise good class!

But as I focused on relaxation following Susan’s instructions, I realized that I had never really done relaxation well. I hadn’t been to a yoga class in ages and this reminded me of why yoga is good for the mind and body. It’s a slower pace than most classes I’ve taken before and I really appreciated that, modifications for your needs were welcomed and encouraged. The instructor was great and had a very welcoming disposition.

I was given an accommodation to a pose I’ve been struggling to achieve for months!!! No other instructor had ever mentioned there was a more comfortable and safe way for me to achieve the pose until class with Christine😭 means so much to be seen and cared for like that!!! So grateful. I will definitely be back.
