ver todas as avaliaçõesI took one of Lisa’s themed rides and really loved the music. It felt like a ride for true fans of the artist and she played a lot of deep cuts. Similarly, her choreography was great it reminded me of old SoulCycle where there was a choreo option for most of the songs but she was also great about queuing pushes. I didn’t feel like there was much sprinting but it could have been a factor of the theme genre. If I was going to offer any criticism it was that the resistance queuing wasn’t very varied throughout class, her mic was LOUD which could be distracting, and the class started 5 minutes late which isn’t ideal for a morning workday ride.

ver todas as avaliaçõesGreat time here, I didn’t realize some locations charged for shoe rentals so that surprised me. The location on 77th west side doesn’t charge and the Bryant park location also never did. Anyways, great time, good music. Sad to see her leave!

ver todas as avaliaçõesThe cycling class on the rooftop at The Excelsior was spectacular! I chose a beautiful day with perfect weather, but what pleasantly surprised me even more was finding out that they offer these classes during the winter as well. I think that’s fantastic! Finding the entrance was a little confusing at first because it’s not the main entrance, but rather a side entrance that connects to the building. However, the doorman at The Excelsior knows exactly where to direct you, so it was easy to figure out. I was genuinely impressed by how huge and beautiful the facilities are. The gym has a pool, an amazing variety of classes, huge locker rooms, and, on top of all that, this fantastic rooftop that is so well utilized. The cycling class itself was physically challenging, which I absolutely loved. The instructor was also very nice, patient, and welcoming. One of my favorite features was the headphones provided during the class. I found that incredibly innovative, especially because I love immersive music experiences. The music selection was fantastic, and the songs were so well chosen for the energy of the class. I left feeling so happy and energized, and I’m definitely coming back! I’d love to try the other class formats they offer as well. Such a great experience!
