    I really enjoyed the class and I will come back. I like HIIT but want to incorporate weight lifting/training and I felt like I got that in this class. The instructor was correcting forms and helping out if you asked for it. Great start to the weekend!

    Elevate: Arlington - Upper Body

    5 stations, approximately 8 mins at each. Bikes/Row station: 40 sec moderate speed, 20 sec sprint, 8 each arm single arm overhead press, then repeat and decrease reps by 1 each round. Bench station: 6 per side bird dog row, 10 dumbbell pullovers, 12 bicep curls, then repeat and decrease bicep curl reps by 2 each round. Turf station: 12 hollow hold single-arm fly alternating arms, 16 medicine ball twists, 10 medicine ball rainbow slams, then repeat. Treadmill station: fast pace to 6 calories, 2 push-ups to alternating toe taps, repeat and add 2 calories and 2 pushup reps each round. Cage station: bench press 6-8 reps (reps in reserve), 10 band tricep pulldowns. There was also a warmup, 2 minutes of abs after the stations, and cool down stretching.

    Have to leave ID at the front. Typical gym vibes. Clean facility and lots of weight machines, cardio stuff, and free weights. Downstairs basement area feels bleak, but the upstairs squat rack area is super nice. Overall good gym to get a workout in!

    Love being able to get in some gym time/weights at Mint, but bummed that they changed the hours of availability. Seems like a slot or two in mornings or evenings shouldn’t be too much to accommodate, especially as it’s generally not so crazy busy. ‘Day of’ bookings would also be very helpful!
